Principle

The feline FeLV antigen rapid detection kit is based on sandwich transversal flow immunochromatography. The test card has a test window to watch the analysis run and read the results. Before running the analysis, the test window has an invisible T (test) area and a C (control) area. When the treated sample is applied to the sample hole on the device, the liquid flows across the surface of the test strip and reacts with the pre-coated monoclonal antibody. If the FeLV antigen is present in the specimen, a visible T line will appear. The C line should always appear after the example is applied, which indicates a valid result. In this way, the device can accurately indicate the presence or absence of FeLV antigen in the specimen.

Strage and stablity

The kit can be stored at room temperature (2-30°C). The test kit is stable through the expiration date (18 months) marked on the package label. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not store the test kit in direct sunlight.

Test Procedure

- Allow all materials, including samples and test devices, to be restored to 15-25 ° C prior to analysis.

- Remove test card from foil bag and place horizontally.

- Collect the 50μl sample into a vial of analysis buffer and mix well.

Then drop 3 drops (about 120μl) of the diluted sample into the sample well "S" of the test card.

- Explain the results in 5-10 minutes.

Results after 10 minutes will be deemed invalid.

Feline Immuno deficiency

INTERPRETATION OF ASSAY RESULT

- Positive (+): Whether the T line is clear or fuzzy, the "C" line and the region "T" line are present.

- Negative (-): Shows only the sharp C line. No T line.

- Invalid: no color lines in zone C. Whether the T line appears or not.
