Extraction Tube A

An extraction tube is a piece of laboratory equipment used for the extraction of compounds from a mixture. It is typically a long, narrow tube made of glass or plastic, with a stopcock or valve at the bottom and a funnel or opening at the top. The mixture to be extracted is placed in the tube, and a solvent is added. The solvent dissolves the desired compound, which can then be separated from the mixture by draining the solvent out of the bottom of the tube.
