Principle

Rapid Ovine Brucella Ab Test was based on sandwich side flow immunochromatographic analysis. The test unit has a test window for observing test runs and result readings.

The test window has an invisible T (test) region and C (control) region before the measurement is run. When the treated sample is applied to the sample hole on the device, the liquid flows across the surface of the test strip and reacts with the pre-coated Brucella LPS antigen. If anti-Brucella antibodies are present in the specimen, a visible T line will appear. After applying the sample, the C line should always appear, which indicates a valid result. In this way, the device can accurately indicate the presence of Brucella antibodies in the specimen.

Brucella IgG/IgM Test Kit is designed to detect Brucella antibodies in in whole blood, serum or plasma.After being absorbed into the cellulose pad, the antibodies of Brucella move and bind with gold-colloidcomplex ofBrucella antigen of the conjugate pad, forming Ag-Ab complex.This complex, then, forms Ag-Ab-Ag direct sandwich binding with antigen (Ag)of Brucella in the nitrocellulose membrane. Strage and stablity

Test Procedure

Collect cattle’s fresh whole blood, and get the serum or plasma specimen for use. Immediately apply the testing once collected the specimen.

Take out the test device from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.
Place 2-3 drop (around 70-100uL) of serum or plasma specimen into the sample hole. Start timer and wait for result.
Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 15 minutes is considered as invalid.
