Pinciple

AIV H5 H7 H9 Rapid test Kit is used to Detect avian influenza virus (AIV) H5 H7 H9 antigen in avian tracheal or cloacal secretions can be used for screening and auxiliary diagnosis of avian influenza virus infection.

This strip is based on the principle of colloidal gold immunochromatography (GICA) and can detect all subtypes of avian influenza virus. After adding the sample, it will move with the colloidal gold marker. If there is an AIV antigen in the sample, it will form a complex with the colloidal gold label and keep moving. This complex will bind to the pre-coated antibody on the T-line, turning the T-line red. If there is no AIV antigen in the sample, there is no color reaction. Line C is the control line, and the presence of line C indicates that the detection is valid.

Strage and stablity

The kit can be stored at room temperature (2-30°C). The test kit is stable through the expiration date (18 months) marked on the package label. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not store the test kit in direct sunlight.

Test Procedure

Collect cattle’s fresh whole blood, and get the serum or plasma specimen for use. Immediately apply the testing once collected the specimen.

Take out the test device from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.
Place 2-3 drop (around 70-100uL) of serum or plasma specimen into the sample hole. Start timer and wait for result.
Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 15 minutes is considered as invalid.
